Answer» I used to be able to connect to the wireless network at the library from my laptop, but now I can't (Snnnnfff).
At home I can see a good local area connection on my laptop, but I can't access that-it asks for a certificate (motorola 23B1C), but I don't UNDERSTAND what that is about.
I'm not comp literate. And the more I rely on self help- I FEAR that I am making things worse myself.
I have a Satellite Toshiba A40 S161 which is using Windows 2003. It has a CPU 2.59 GHz with 752MB of RAM.
Is there anything you could do to assist me?
Via Remote Connection would be of preferable CHOICE- or send something to download.
It's a used laptop and I don't have a CD. Nor the money to get it fixed!
When I start my computer, I get a message :"At least one service or driver failed during start up, AND, another message a that read " HTTPS or TCP Connection could not be made."

****A Hardware Helper Scan REVEALED that I have 55 Drivers with 10 that need updates. _______________________________________ _______________________________________ _____________________
I just recently signed up for dial up internet with Net Zero, and I am expecting a Norton 360 CD, but I don't think this will help me with my WiFi connection.
Sincerely,
