1.	Solve : information about wi-fi and dial-up onlaptops?
Answer» Hello: I am NEW to laptops, have not yet gotten one,because i am not well enough informed about this one thing. I need to use my laptop at home,but can only get dial up, thru the phone line. But, I also need to use it away,LIKE at a cafe where there is wi-fi, or such situations similar. What I need to know,and please, if you can, keep it simple is: (1) can a laptop do both, as in, either/or? and (2)how new a laptop does it need to be if so? I cannot at this time afford a top NOTCH one,and the main use will be simple surfing, and chatting to keep in touch with family. Thanks,so much..I will be getting a laptop, but need to know some thngs first. Help is appreciated! Yes most laptops TODAY have a built in wireless receiver and many still come with a modem as well. And yes if the laptop got both options it can use either for Internet access.
