Answer» I know you can install linux on a thumb drive and while in there surf the web with no LOCAL pc files being written, it all goes to the thumb drive. So the question is... You're a tech at a private mid-sized company, the owner suspects a user of excessive or innapropriate web USE. The company either does not run a server that logs usage, or all the PCs have independant CONNECTIONS direct to the firewall/router. Is there any way to track past usage? I am guessing calling the ISP will not help as short of a warrant I would not expect them to turn over anything. I know there are systems that can be PUT in place for future RECORDING, but is the past gone forever???
