I USE Windows XP SP2. Is there a freeware utility that shows me what applications and services are using my internet connection? Because when I connect to the internet, it becomes slows down to crawl.
Move this to the right board if required.
Thank you.Go to your FIREWALL, and you'll see what applications have your PERMISSION to access Internet.
It's not necessary your SLOWNESS problem.All of the rules have being set manually. But this is strange, when I looked at the log file, something called "Au_.exe" tried to access the internet.Search your computer for that file. If it's dangerous, or not, it depends on it's location.
Post where it's located, and also upload that file here: http://virusscan.jotti.org/Don't worry. It was just automatic updates downloading updates in the background.
