Hi everybody, for a week or two now whenever I'm trying to chat with people on facebook, my connection goes all sorts of weird on me and starts triple/quadruple posting my messages, not even sending some of them (endless sending loop), and telling me it can't connect to facebook at this time. No ONE else is having these problems (at least of the people I speak too). And I have no idea how to fix it.

Here's what I can give you:
Windows XP SP3
Hard-connection, goes to a Linsksys WRT54G wireless router configured to just route wired connections, then to a Motorolla modem. I'm sharing this one ISP line with... 6 computers, and 3 game consoles, all connected at varying times. I don't SEE any difference when everything else is off.

Also to be of note, some other odd things have been happenign with my computer, such as the font getting changed... and italiscized randomly.

Have you tried flushing your browser cache?  Could be that the javascript code for the chat has become corrupted in your browser.  Hit Ctrl-F5 on a Facebook page to force a reload of all scripts etc.
