Answer» My wireless internet connection drops out after a few HOURS. Windows still sees the router in the available networks list, but will not connect... Vista diagnoses the problem as no response from router. When I restart the computer the connection is BACK on every time.
The only thing I did to my computer before this problem began was create a new user account. And the loss of connection affects both my users. I searched around for a solution, but no avail. Any ideas?
I can't plug in for a wired connection, because the router is in the main-house where my landlord LIVES. His connection does not drop out like mine.

thanks y'all, -ryan1) Are you running Vista SERVICE Pack 1? If not, install that first. 2) Also, download and install the latest drivers for your computer's wireless adapter. Thanks for the reply. I do have SP1. Also, I double checked the driver and it is up to date. I am current on Windows updates too.
Also, I just found out I can restore the connection just by unplugging the antenna's usb cable from the pc and plugging it back in. This is a much easier solution than restarting, but I need to be CONNECTED all day. What's your signal strength (how many bars)?
