Answer» HI there, I am having difficulties with my other computer connecting to the internet, the odd thing is my connection to my router is fine;furthermore, I can connect to skype, iTunes Store, and most other Internet required applications I have a Wireless router: Netgear RangeMax BROWSER:Mozilla Operating system : Windows XP Firewall: ZoneAlarm, The Windows Firewall seems to display its turned on even. Though I go through services.msc and shut it off so that is odd. What I have TRIED: I've tried virus SCANNING found a bunch of trojans, Virus's and stuff removed them. I've tried using diffrent ports www.google.com:8080 used adaware and spybot search and destroy. Please Help!!! NEED INTERNET! Oh dear. Sounds like something has been fried by the trojan INFESTATION. You can no longer trust this machine; I would strongly recommend flattening and rebuilding (i.e. reformat/reinstall). Make the installation of a reputable virus checker your first priority once you have reinstalled.
