Solve : Internet Connectivity Issue?

I am fairly good with computers but really do not know where to start here.

I have an HP G62 Notebook, with Winodws 7 and wireless interent. Please let me know what else you need!

I have rather recently encountered the scenario that my computer will be successfully encountered to the internet and when "google.com" is pinged in CMD I do receive a reply and my Internet Explorer 64-bit WORKS but Firefox, Internet Explorer 120-bit and any downloading/uploading from programs (AVG, WINDOWS Updater) fail.

If running a virus program or Mal-Ware program nothing comes up. This scenario will play out wirelessly or wired.

Do not use the 120 bit version with Windows 7 64 bit.
Thank you for the response, I'm not using that version, because it does not work, on top of the FACT that I prefer Firefox. I can add that not only are UPGRADES failing to download, but I also cannot use Skype.
