I have a modem coming into my HOUSE, from which runs a cable up to my upstairs. I used this cable to connect to a Netgear 4 Port Dual Speed Hub. From the hub, I ran a wire to my COMPUTER, a laptop and my Wii. The computer and laptop can connect to the internet just fine with default settings. But the Wii doesn't connect. The lights on the Hub also don't light up when connected and I've TRIED using different wires and I know they are all good. I have also used the cable not going through the hub to connect to the Wii and it works fine. Any help or ideas? Thanks!A HUB will not usually work when sharing a connection from a regular modem. You NEED a ROUTER, these are usually wireless but sometimes come wired only which I imagine is what you want.Like cameron said you're going to need to purchase a router to share your Internet connection. With the router you'd plug your main Internet line into the WAN port, and then each device you wish to share to the other PORTS. Just a tip the Wii has WiFi, so purchase a WiFi router and you will not have to worry about wires.
