Solve : internet drops when adding extra devices onto router? |

Answer» This is my problem. First question, why do you have two routers? It's not uncommon. At least is wasn't so uncommon before wireless, but it is still done. If that's the hardware they have to work with then that's what they have. It could be recommended that they go out and get a wireless router and wireless cards for all the computers, but why make them go spend money they don't have to? Just because it's not something you would do doesn't mean they shouldn't.Thanks for your advice quaxo that link was very helpful and I now have have 'em both running smoothly. Thompson: I wanted a wired connection because I stream hd videos and it would be rubbish over the wireless and as quaxo said I already had the equipment that was capable of doing the job.Quote from: rthompson80819 on October 16, 2010, 08:46:33 PM First question, why do you have two routers?I have 2 routers. 5 devices (none wireless) & only 4 ports on the primary router.Quote from: yesterday on October 17, 2010, 02:28:12 PM Thanks for your advice quaxo that link was very helpful and I now have have 'em both running smoothly.
