Out of no where my internet started disconnecting today, but if I restart or restore it works again. Then I noticed while watching stuff on line or playing a game(any game, offline games, on line games) it would freeze after about 5 min of playing or doing something and I would have to restart. I have spybot and a VIRUS scanner. Usually when I have had a virus my computer would be slow, but its not GOING slow, just freezes. I wasn't sure where to post this because I'm not sure if its my internet or what.

What kind of games are you playing/trying to play? Possibly your computer cannot handle them, and is freezing because of this. Since it also happens with offline games, most likely is not an issue with your internet.A relative wanted to play on the computer and it was just an online game for kids like, it didn't need to be DOWNLOADED or anything and after about 5 min everything would freeze, my whole computer. I was watching something online and then it froze after a COUPLE of minutes (everything froze). So then I wanted to see if The Sims 2 would work, it worked yesterday fine and every other time fine, so when I tried that I played for about 5 minutes and then everything froze and it shut down. I have Spore too and I tried that online and offline because I think you can play it offline and it wouldn't even start up the screen was just blank and froze everything.

I haven't downloaded anything new or have done anything different. My internet was being weird too because sometimes it cuts out but I can usually just unplug and then plug it back and its fine, but today nothing would fix it unless I RESTARTED.
