Solve : Internet setup at home?

Hi guys...
At my mother in law's house they had INTERNET setup last year and disconected but this year they APPLIED for the connection again, so i guess they got the settings and all the stuff.

When i went there, there was a box on the electrical plug and a phone line to a big box were there are two lines one for line i think. The problem is i dont know were to start with MODERN things but they do have one on the pc. they are using DSN i think....

Help.............First of all, what are you seeking? Do you want general info or is there a problem?

Do you mean ISDN? Or DSL? Both come in through a phone line, but ISDN is rather uncommon in the United States for home use (in my experience, at least.)

Is this just power for the "big box" or do your in-laws have Broadband Over Powerlines (BPL)?

Your post is a bit garbled. If you clear things up we'll be BETTER able to help you. i just solved it. Sorry for not being so clear, i'm not a cisco tech nor ccnp. I was missing the usb cable that connects its to the pc.
