Answer» i am sorry if this isn't the right category. so, i've tracked someone's IP from yahoo mail, by viewing the full header of the mail. and it lead me to California, but that PERSON pretends to be from JORDAN. i don't think that she changed her IP because she's not a computer master. could it be a mistake? or is she really sending emails from California? thank you! If a person's motivation is to mislead others as to their place of origin just like all other facets of one's profile it can be falsified. There are a variety of methods IP addresses can be altered from it's TRUE point of origin.Many people and organizations go to great lengths to provide false information in order to serve their own ends which if done are often to achieve MALICIOUS objectives.
