Answer» I don't recall ever having noticed this until maybe about two weeks ago. When I start my laptop, it automatically connects to the Internet. However, I have now noticed that my connection is "unsecure." I read the little bit of info under the connection's name and it says that since it's unsecure, info I send may be viewable to others. What do I do now?? Can people see my passwords to MySpace, facebook, etc.? Any help is appreciated! Thank you!I doubt anyone can see your passwords or anything LIKE that. Your ISP might be updating their hardware or something like that... Would uploads really take that long? It's like that every time it connects. Also- banks, and other sensitive information IS encrypted via https, it just isn't encrypted by the router- hard to EXPLAIN...
