i use a crossover cable for creating a network between my 2 PCs and i dont have any problem with this
when i want connect the laptop (model:fojisto siemens;amilo pro seri) to a PC by a crossover cable, it dont work and PC and laptop both WARN that the cable is not connect
but the cable is correct and i tested this cable between 2 PCs and it work perfect
why the laptop dont accept the crossover cable.
how i can fix itTry with another cable. Try to connect the laptop with a STRAIGHT network cable to a switch (or home router) and see if you have connection.
There may be SOMETHING wrong with the cable or with the network CONNECTOR on your laptop.
