Solve : Laptop not connecting to wireless network?

Answer»

While I was setting up a static IP address for my desktop and laptop, I found that the computer technician that I normally get had changed the password on my router, so I used the reset on the BACK of my DL524 router, and I could now access the configuration site for it.

But I found that my laptop was no longer able to gain access to the internet. And it comes up with the following message -

'Wireless network connection
Windows was unable to find a certificate to log you on to your network default'

The information I got from the ipconfig/all in the COMMAND window was -
Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]

C:\DOCUMENTS and Settings\Bradley Jordan>ipconfig/all

So far i've been told to turn off 'Enable IEEE 802.1x for this network' and have done that.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
I think you're going to NEED to do the full setup of your wireless network again, at the router and PC ends. Check your router's manual for instructions.
