Solve : Link Sys BEFSR41 Lease Time?

Appearntly, the lease time for my router is only five minutes.  I NEED to change this for my server but, I dont know how to do it.http://support.radioshack.com/support_accessories/doc66/66591.pdf

If you are running a server I WOULD suggest using a static local IP for your server so you can port forward to it easily.It all ready has a static ip.  I also, all ready shifted through the manual an the average person wouldnt be doing somethin like thiscan someone really HELP :/I noticed in your router settings there is an option to DISABLE the DHCP server. Perhaps that may work...I disabled DHCP,  still the lease seems to last for five minutes.  Not sure if this is the source of the issue or not though Quote from: Ryuk on February 11, 2012, 01:31:37 AM

In that case, the lease time is irrelevant.I just seen that    I THINK its some kind of DNS error on my ServerUnlikely.  DHCP and DNS are two very different things...sorry, there is still a lot of new stuff an things not really working
