Answer» I am WONDERING what exactly i have to do inorder to use my lap TOP to log in to my home pc. So as i can do so while out and about. i know their is software available to provide this function, but i also know there is ways of doing it with out the use of third PARTY software. Can ANYBODY explain to me how to do this. Swhat OS are you running? Windows, Linux, Mac? Windows on Pc and Laptop. Using a wireles broadband connection on home PC. So it acquires the ip address using nat. you could always use Remote Desktop Connection to access your desktop from your Laptop. You would need to make sure if you have a router that it allows port 3389 through. You would also need to make sure that your desktop is SET to allow MSTSC connections. Right click on my computer and select properties click on the remote tab and select Allow users to connect remotely to the computer.
