If that isn't it try to borrow an external wireless/usb dongle (you will also need the software for it) and install it on the laptop to see if you can connect wirelessly. But no, the on/off for the wireless on this machine is the fn+F2 combo, and it's on. I've no access to a USB wireless deal, but am very close to purchasing one as I'm fresh outta' ideas! Go to start and type services.msc - Enter, look for WLAN Autoconfig and check if its not disabled. Change it to Automatic and hit apply. As a last resort, remove bonjour by add or remove programs and disable IPV6 -> Right-click the wireless adapter in Network connections and choose properties and uncheck Internet Protocol 6 (tcp/ipv6), ok. If nothing changes, I think you need to try a USB wifi adapter at this point as suspected by Truenorth earlier. |
