Solve : Multiplayer Games..? |
|
Answer» I plugged in my speedstream thing, was expecting to play Warcraft, but found that I couldn't connect. I tried other multiplayer games, none work! :-? Configured correctly.. err.. That pinpoints the problem. same thing for me i cant play multiplayer games adn my firewall is off I might have this same problem. When choosing to host a server for multiplayer games or serving software like VNC, it CHOOSES to allow connections on LAN instead of over the internet, I have no idea how to fix this. Occurs even after port is forwarded and firewall exceptions are made.if you are TALKING about Warcraft 3, there is a service called www.gameranger.com that I have used to play with my friends that made things very stable... but are you talking about getting on www.battle.net to play? just any like urberstrike.com and powersoccer.com Quote from: osmo on March 28, 2011, 11:10:59 AM if you are talking about Warcraft 3, there is a service called www.gameranger.com that I have used to play with my friends that made things very stable... but are you talking about getting on www.battle.net to play? I'm talking about programs that host over the internet in general. I have the ports forwarded properly, yet it refuses to detect the internet IP, only the LAN. Gameranger is useful only for certain games, and the games I have problems with include Valve games which have dedicated server software. |
