1.	Solve : my computer is answering the landline phone after a couple of rings??
Answer» Everytime the phone rings and the computer is on it seems to answer the CALL and you can hear the person speaking through the computer. I think you're talking about the option to start the computer remotley.no, I'm talking about TAD, Telephone answering device, not Wake On LAN. the BEST solution is to simply unplug the TAD connector, and disable Telephone answering within the modem drivers properties. a TAD wire should be GOING from the modem to the sound card, or a motherboard header; this is how it is heard. However even with it unplugged the modem will still answer voice calls, unless it is explicitly told not to answer.
