Solve : My computer will NOT connect to the internet.?

As I said I cannot get our internet to connect, I have tried re-setting the router many times... Via pulling the plug and holding in the reset button on the back.

Router: D-Link DSL-302G

ERROR: "Server Runtime Error" (if that helps)
ISP: Woosh Wireless (New Zealand)
Using the RJ-45 and USB (same error)

Any info would be useful

Did the SYSTEM ever connect? If so, what happened since the last time it worked (new hw, sw, virus, error, etc)?
Can you ping?
Are there other SYSTEMS in the house? If so, do they get a signal?
What happens when you direct connect to the modem?Router was working in the morning, i was posting a picture on facebook when the internet suddenly died, router is not "wireless". My laptop is virtually brand new (bought it from my parents house over the weekend) and the same thing happens. The laptop says "limited or no connectivity" but shows local access.

What happened since the last time it worked - It's coming up with a webpage displaying "Server Runtime Error". no new HW, SW, VIRUS?.

Can you ping: Haven't tried, but I can type in CMD "ipconfig /all"

Are there other systems in the house? - Yes there are 3 computers currently in the house. 2/3 have tried to connect to the internet

If so, do they get a signal? - Signal? it's not a wireless connection?

I meant do they get service - can they ping? Can they connect to the internet?Might be our ISP?

BUT! It's happened before and we seemed to resolve the problem.

All attempts have failed.

MerlynYou refuse to ping so there's no way to know if you are getting service.in the "routers address" (Default Gateway IP) it says "connection to exchange : Connected (under that) - Connection to internet - connecting. (was connected before i tried to reset the router =\) i am not at home to try the "ping" but i will post back tomorrow about the "ping status". i am using the internet at my university to post.okay so last night i got the router back to the "connected" stage, but the "server runtime error" still appears.

ANY HELP?
