Solve : My IP address?

Answer»

I have a laptop with Vista home basic and I am trying to find my IP address. I've entered "ipconfig" (without the quotation MARKS) in the start mode and after hitting enter a DOS screen pops up for all of a millisecond so I can't read it. Is there more than just "ipconfig" to type in the start mode so that the DOS screen stays put??
Instead of ipconfig type cmd and hit enter.
This way you get a permanent command LINE window.
now type ipconfig and hit enter.
Thanks !!!!!
You guys are great!You're welcome
