Answer» Hey my name is VICTOR and I'm having difficulties with connecting to my network from my Ipod. This is also an issue for other wireless devices such as labtops, and I need someone's help. First I would like to say is that I Diagnosed the problem and now I need a solution. What do you mean by "What is your network set up like" How many routers? What type of router? ADSL or cable? How many computers connected? 1 router (Linksys cisco), ADSL,2 computers are connected. Just the wifi is not working.I think both your ADSL modem and Linksys Router are trying to perform NAT. Only one device should be doing so. I'd suggest that your router does it, see if you can disable NAT on the ADSL modem. Are you sure your modem is not a router? Im positive that I have one router and one modem. How do you disable NAT ? Quote from: Dnang3l on January 25, 2012, 02:15:42 PM Im positive that I have one router and one modem. How do you disable NAT ? See the manual of the devices in question. First VERIFY that NAT is turned on in both devices and then turn it off in one. Quote from: Dnang3l on January 25, 2012, 05:09:48 PM How do you diasble NAT? Read the manual ... If the devices are capable of NAT, it's in the manual. If not, just go looking for an option that says "Enable" or "Disable" and "NAT" (Or Network Address Translation.) |
