Solve : Need help multiple router?

Answer»

Hi everyone. I'm trying to setup a multiple router network but I can't FIGURE out how to do it. The reason I need multiple routers is because one of them has a Printer USB plug that I need and the other one is wireless.

The two routers:
D-Link Router (More Info here:http://d-link.ca/products/?pid=272&sec=2)
Trendnet Wireless G Router (More info here:http://trendnet.com/products/proddetail.asp?prod=165_TEW-432BRP)

The setup I had before: The modem cable plugs in D-Link's WAN plug. There were 3 cables coming out of the D-Link router: 2 desktop computers and the printer. This setup worked for a long TIME, file sharing, printer sharing and everything. After that, I took another cable from the D-Link and plugged in to the TrendNET to enable Wireless with my Nintendo Wii and DS.

Recently, I bought a Notebook and I'm trying to connect wirelessly to the internet. I tried a couple things but it only made things worse: I can't even access Internet anymore from the TrendNET. The other network still works fine and if I connect the laptop directly to the D-Link, I can access Internet and the network.

I can access the D-Link setup page EASILY but I can't access the TrendNET's page anymore (don't know why, I could before I tried setting things up)

Basically, I'm trying to have both routers on the same Network. Hope you can help me.Woops, I forgot to say the cable going from the D-Link to the TrendNET is plugged in TrendNET's WAN plug.Factory reset your TrendNET and reconfigure it. You had things setup correctly before.

When you had them setup ORIGINALLY did the laptop detect the wireless network?Ok, I'll try that. Before I changed things, it detected the network and could access Internet, but couldn't see the other computers on the network. You're on a different router, quite possibly a different subnet as well. You probably won't be able to access the PCs on the LAN without some special config.
