Router is D-Link 4 port (comfirm the model no later when i'm home) thank! This from Dyndns.com: "Can I use your services for a server behind a cable/DSL router?
Yes. You'll have to set up port forwarding on your router; see your documentation for instructions. Then just point your hostname(s) at the router's external IP as normal, and it should handle sending the right traffic to your internal server. Please do not ask the support department to help you with your router-specific configuration, as we are UNABLE to support third-party devices. If your router does not have a built-in client for our services, or if you're using the Custom DNS service, you MAY need a software update client."

thanks for the info!
i google around found this ARTICLE very helpful http://theillustratednetwork.mvps.org/RemoteDesktop/RemoteDesktopSetupandTroubleshooting.html
i already configured the router according to d-link website told. and setting up pc firewall acception , but i having another problem log in remotely. when i use this website from article above to check port no 3389. it can't see this port open. how to allow this port to open, i checkes services.msc, i started the remote desktop service but still can't solve it. use netstat -a at command promt, there's no listening port no 3389.
my friend recomend me a remote software call VNC. need to forward port 5900, i did forward this port at the router exacly like what i do with remote desktop. but i can see this port no 5900. I believe you have to open the port in the router.
