I recently purchased the usb720 broadband modem from verizon wireless. oddly enough, it connects to the internet and allows me to surf the internet fine, and isn't the least BIT slow. However, when I try to download certain programs to my laptop like AIM, or try to connect to online games like WoW, it says I do not have a internet connection. I called the Technical support at Verizon, but to put it bluntly they were completely useless and didn't understand what the problem was at all. Anyone out there who might know how to REMEDY this problem? Thanks.Are there any DLoad manager programs installed on this machine ? ?
