Solve : Network Connection window how to?

Answer»
I cannot view other computer in network connection window. I would like to learn how to use this window and how to set it up. A link to a tutorial would be nice. The only THING I can see in there now is the local area connection and the Internet connection, which are both working fine. The computers will have to be in the same workgroup or domain.

What version of Windows are you using? Both computers are Windows XP.Press the Windows logo key + Pause/Break to BRING up the system properties. Click on the "Computer Name" tab. The full computer name and the workgroup are listed. Do this on both computers and make SURE they are on the same workgroup.
I did as you said EgODeath, I used the keyboard shortcut and on this PC and the system properties came right up, on the other it brought up the start up menu, but I just went though the control panel. It seems that the 2 PC's have different workgroups. Please let me know how to assign them the same workgroup without running a Wizard. Have a Satellite receiver and a router as part of the network. The Network Wizard just doesn't seem to work very well, from past experience.
Changed the name of the workgroup so that both PC's have the same workgroup name, but still cannot view both PC's in network connections.Turn off the firewall on both pc's. Can you see me now

Windows firewall is turned off on both PC's. I am running Comodo firewall on the host PC, the wireless phone internet is plugged directly into the host PC. The internet connection is shared. I would not want to run without a firewall. I also imagine other people use FIREWALLS yet can see other PC's on Network Connections.
I'm not familiar with Comodo firewall (I am aware of it) but for the sake of diagnosing the problem try TURNING it off.
