Answer» Hi
I am unable to access the internet. When I try to open a page, a pop-up says (for example) "www.google.com could not be opened". I've recently gotten a new ISP but this problem occured with the previous one.
When I go to enter the new network key (an 8 character code (XPXD...)) it asks for a hexidecimal password. I think a friend set one up for my last connection so people couldn't hack in, but now I can't get on my own internet!!
I'd be really grateful if someone out there could help.
I'm PRETTY good with computers (although no real wizz) so don't be afraid to suggest some more trickier ideas (WITHIN reason!!)
Thanks Tim Quote from: cocokeelers on April 25, 2007, 07:34:41 AM Hi

Call your friend up and have him give you the password.

Alan <>< info, we need some info on your ISP, connection type, and anything else, and get that password. Go to the MANUFACTURER's web site and see how to reset the settings to default. It MAY be as easy as pressing a button.
