Solve : Network Speed Extremely Slow Upon First Startup? |
|
Answer» Me and a friend built a computer a few months back, it runs amazing, no problems... except.. the Internet Connection. When I turn off my computer and turn it back on it's basically non existent,Nothing loads, it runs LIKE my grandparents dialup use to. .70mbps download before it's "warmed up" when it's peak it's 40mbps, it takes a few hours, to a few days to warm up. It's a direct connection, I bought a $70 WIRELESS Adapter hoping it may help, it didn't. I THOUGHT about buying a PCI Network Card, Any thoughts, and any suggestions that may fix the problem? All Drivers are updated. What network card do you have? WIRED or wireless? What router/switch/other gear is involved? Is it just the speed from the internet that is affected, or also local network speed?I don't have a network Card, It's out of my Mobo. It's a direct connection, I also have a wireless adapter(I don't use it, it doesn't help). Seems to not affect the Local Network's connection.OK, what motherboard is it? |
