I have SIMILAR problem with networking. Could you help me get through it.
I have two laptops, one is windows 7 and the other one is windows vista. I have a router and I can see the laptop in the WORKGROUP network I created. However when trying to access one computer from the other or access a shared folder it is instructing me to INPUT username and password which RESULTS to invalid when I try using the user and PASS of the laptop I am trying to access.
What could be the problem? Someone help please . . . .Dude, can I get mine solved then you can post what ever you want. Hijacking my thread =.=
You just need to put in the password, the one which you use for windows 7. If there isn't any go to advanced settings and change the option there for password enabled. Bump. Help, anybody?
