1.	Solve : New Computer to Network?
Answer» I am PURCHASING a new laptop. At this time I am working on my Dell Desktop and am HOOKED to a cable modem. I would like to be able to USE the new laptop on a wireless hookup. I am thinking that I should buy a wireless router and then RUN my cable to the router thru to my desktop then my laptop would just connect to the router with the wireless card installed in the laptop. Am I correct here? Does this give me my security I need and also a firewall? Thanks for any help.Not exactly sure what your plan is... You can get a Wireless Router and plug it into an available slot in the router or modem the desktop is hooked up to.
