Answer» I am computer dumb first of all. I have vista and Im using ie. Computer is directly connected to modem, rite now. Click for internet, it says page not found, on the screen in right bottom corner it shows the two computers and the spinning globe like its supposed too when connected, right click it and it says its connected. But I can't go to any web pages. I have a wireless router, for my daughters wii and our phones, And they all work, so Im sure its not the CONNECTION Any help is appreciated. Are you using a desktop or a laptop? Did it work before? If you are connecting to the modem and another wireless router available, did you check on the router if there are ports for you to CONNECT directly? Desktop, been working fine for a LONG time, then did this.

I dont know anything to try, other than i reset the comp and modem.

Thanks a ton! i went to internet options, and under LAN options,auto detect was checked along with proxy server, i un checked the proxy and its now working.
