I just GOT my new dell and went to the library today. 2 other wifiers happily pecking along and for me, nada. They had XP, I have vista. I went through and tried all the repair/diagnose stuff for an hour. It says it has limited connectivity however the signal strength is EXCELLENT and it shows its connected at 56kbs. Packets sent but none recieved. Also tried starting browser as instructed. Any IDEAS?okay, first of all, are you burrowing or STEALING wireless router from other people ? If so you might WANT to try using this.
ipconfig/renew, I have some problem with limited connectivity sometimes cause I sometimes use other people router, so it might work or not, if not, you should try to get your own wireless router, that is what I recommend.
