Solve : No Wi-fi connectivity in KDE!!!?

Answer»

Hi, I recently installed the KDE DESKTOP environment just to check out on my Dell Inspiron E1705 notebook, but for some reason it WILL NOT connect to the internet in KDE, but Wifi works perfectly using the GNOME interface. I run Ubuntu 10.10 dual-booted with WINDOWS 7 Professional 32-bit on a Dell Inspiron 17" laptop computer. The only thing I can think of is that it might just be a MISSING driver for the wireless because I had the same exact thing happen to me when I installed ubuntu on my system and I wasn't able to connect using GNOME. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanx
