Solve : Norton Internet Security 2008 Network Trust Levels?

Answer»

Hi,

I don't understand the following trust level comments in Norton Internet Security 2008:

"Full Trust" is recommended only when the device cannot reach your computer in more secure "Trust levels".

"Default (Shared)" inherit the trust settings of the network that the device connects to.  Incoming traffic will be inspected ACCORDING to the newtork's policy.

My network is connected to a Linksys router using a COMCAST cable modem.

Thanks,
JoeIn other words, use any level of trust except full trust unless you absolutely have to.  The easiest way for me to DEAL with Norton Internet Security is to uninstall it and use Trend Micro's PC-cillin.  There are some viruses I'd RATHER have on my PC before I'd have Norton Internet Security.Hi,

Thanks for the response.

Joe
