1.	Solve : ntoskrnl.exe being blocked by firewall?
Answer» Just setup a home network. One system could not be viewed on the network. Found that my firewall (Sygate) was blocking ntoskrnl.exe. I could not allow this by normal means, but had to apply a special rule to do so. My concern is because my firewall was so admit about blocking ntoskrnl.exe access. Should I have a concern?I can see some posts about a bug in Sygate, doing just that, but those postings are from couple of years ago.Thank you for your RESPONSE. Yeah, Symantec bought Sygate SEVERAL years ago, so it was dead ended, but I have been using it a long time and feel comfortable with the program. I tried ZoneAlarm Pro on a newer machine and found it more difficult. Just wanted to know if there was a reason to be blocking ntoskrnl.exe from the network.
