hi...i am new to this forum and do appreciate any and all who take the time to RESPOND to my request. i have recently added the family filter (provided by my dsl company) to my dsl line. we are having a problem in that it is also blocking our wii and playstation from connecting to other players on the internet. it is also blocking my google SIDEBAR. i need help trying to connect to these applications. my dsl company SAYS it has nothing to do with them because their filter only blocks the web browser but these applications did not start to have connectivity problems until the day we added the filter. please help!

Some of them do actually block specific ports so P2P downloading and online gaming isn't possible. May be worth checking their T's & C's on their homepage to SEE what is supported in your package deal.Thanks a bunch. I will try it out and hopefully GET back to you with a positive result. amatullahWhy not uninstall the filter and see if things work again. If they do than call you ISP and have them walk you though the install of the filter and show you how to set it so your stuff works.
