Any advice will be much appreciated.... KINDEST REGARDS.. HONEY1601.xHi honey, you need to boot-up the Windows CD from your computers BIOS, when the laptop starts up, before it gets to the windows booting up screen you should see a little menu flash about about press some key to go into the BIOS, then you have to try to tap that key quick, you have to go into the BIOS and then once your in the BIOS you should have an option to set-it up to boot from the CD. You can find more INFORMATION about it here: http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm If you dont catch what it says as it will flash it up pretty quick, you may have to reboot the computer one or two times... It can be frustrating but take your time you'll get their in the end, good luck! P.S: See if you can find the book that came with the laptop, it might say how to do it in there... & those sky engineers sound like a very helpful bunch! It can be put right dont despair! |
