error code 0x000006d9

I'm getting this when I double CLICK on the printer and go into properties/ sharing/share this printer.

As I'm understanding this is what I need to do in order to share the printer over the network.

Asus DESKTOP essentio. windows 7, 64 bit, 6g ram Pentium duocore

Not sure where to go from here.Is this a printer that can be shared? Does the maker indicate it can be shared?  the site www.sevenforums.com reports issues with  network printers and windows 7 64 bit. Maybe you problem is like that.
Go there and look for posts that are similar to yours. The issue is when trying to share a printer between a 32 bit system and a 64 bit system.

Yes, in some CONFIGURATION it makes no difference at all. But sometimes it does.
It was shared on my last system, but that was likely 32 bit, I'm not sure. But I get this code b4 I ever try to use it from another computer. Shouldn't I be able to at least turn on the option?

Every time I get an error code I do a search and try to fix it only to come up against another error code.
