Answer» Hey all, at a friends HOUSE, 2 comps running vista, 1 with xp. All are sharing internet CONNECTION, but NONE can see the OTHERS. I dont know vista very well, so im not sure what to do. Is there a way to start over, im thinking maybe the domain name is different but not sure. What should i TRY first to get at least the 2 vista comps to see each other?My first thought is to be sure they are all on the same workgroup.do u know where in vista i see the name of the workgroup?I believe it's similar to xp in that area. Right click on my computer, properties. Go to "computer name" tab at the top.Also make sure that their IP addresses are on the same subnetalso a good point.
