i have 14 PC's connected on my LAN and is connected to 1020kbps DSL to my router.

if i will have another PC to act as proxy server will it increase the speed of internet browsing and online games?

can some one give me article or GUIDE how it work and its setup?

thanks in advance! Setting up a proxy server would not help increase the speed of your internet browsing and online games for your setup. Usually a proxy is OPTIMAL in a corporate environment with 50+ computers.

How are the computers connected to the router? If it's direct I really don't think you could do anything more to improve the OVERALL quality. If you've got the router HOOKED to hubs you could switch out the hubs for network switches (connected to the router). Using a hub as part of the network can slow things down.

Appart from that suggestion (which isn't much) I think the best METHOD to increase network performance would be to increase your main internet connection.
