Solve : Question about wireless router/network?

Answer»

Hi, I've recently decided to buy a wireless router so my fiancee and I can CONNECT to the internet with our laptops without having the cables RUNNING all over the apartment (I currently have a standard router). However, I also have a desktop PC that does not have a wireless adapter or card to go with it. Are there wireless routers which also allow for direct, 'wireful' connections to them in addition to wireless connections, or will I just have to fork out the money to buy a wireless USB adapter or card for my desktop as well? Or can I split the signal coming from the cable modem in some other way?

Thanks for your help! Most wireless routers I've seen have the antennas for wireless TRANSMISSION, and usually four ethernet ports for connecting ethernet cables. I've personally MIXED wired and wireless connections on the same LAN (Local Area Network).
