I tried the first suggestion you gave me and it does not follow the instruction.

Instead of asking me about active x it ASKS me to install this on all computers?

When it rain it pours !Sorry not all computers it asks me to install this for all users.I tried the alternate METHOD and copied it to a flash drive, for obvious reasons, then tried it on the tower and the tower coudl not validate the code that was given me on a working computer ?Now when I tried to stop and restsart the telephony suggestion in the first link you gave me it times out and says it can't. So i left it paused and tried to create a connection and it still did not work.

No double file either.I found two other rasapi files , renamed them .old and rebooted and tried again, to no avail.

Tried different rj45's, HELP ! lolI GOT IT !

I uninstalled the hardware and reinstalled it and now have internet access!
