Answer» Hey, i'm the owner of an acer pavillion, and i have a rather... odd problem. My laptop currently runs on windows 7, sp2. Ever SINCE our home router had an update a few months back, my internet STOPPED functioning. It says i haave 4 or 5 out of five connection with the router but no internet at all, or that my internet is steady at 4 or 5, but nothing that uses the internet functions. Occasionally, connection drops to 3/5 and i have internet, for a timespan between a few MINUTES and half an hour. As an evening progresses, the connection gets worse. Also, none of the other COMPUTERS on the network suffer the same problem and my laptop doesn't suffer the problem on other networks. I am not a computer nerd, so if you need more specifics please tell me how to find them as well.before it is asked, the problem persists in both wireless and CABLE network
