Answer» I am planning on buying a wireless router with 5 ports, I have a modem and a broadband D-Link, the D-Link is FULL, and I got a laptop, which need a connection, so I am buying a wireless router, but I am not sure how to connect it. That's all that's needed here.Tommy, you have a switch or do you intend to buy one? You are sure you will buy a wireless router? If you will connect the laptop through a network CABLE a switch will be enough to "enhance" your home network (to give you n-2 more ports to connect cables; n = number of ports on the switch).Aw thanksAnd the answer is...? |
