I have an emchanines desktop that RUNS on Windows 7 and I have a weird problem. For starters i can't download anything without it stopping on random percentages. I have tried to look up some solutions for this, and FOUND none to have worked. My Internet connection is fine, but like i said i can't download anything. For example, i can't download Java or any search engines, etc.

Hopefully someone can help me.

First thing is to troubleshoot the network card. Get a USB-RJ45 adapter:
