Answer» Hi everyone, I need to create a Connection in my ODBC, I PUT all the parameters (user, pass, Host) but I couldn't ACCESS, Windows Shows me that the server doesn't exist. But I could make ping to the address (I've trying with the url name and the IP address). Please Help me I don't know what to do Regards Can you TELL us if the machine running SQL and your machine are in the same network? Is the server running a firewall? Is your machine running a firewall? I think we can probably glean that this is an extrernal SQL host. Can I ask - which flavour of SQL? MySQL? MS SQL? Postgresql? And have you double-checked that you're using the CORRECT port?
