Answer» Hi this is KIND of an off-topic post I suppose, but I hope it's in the right channel, being that I require the help of network officianados. I am taking a "brain-bench" for the company i work for. they will provide me an EXAM based on networking principals. My promotion depends on this exam. The clincher: they will allow me NO hints on study material. the company I work for is a telecom who provide internet service for a huge customer base. Fact is I am a novice in networking, but the job is entry level. SoOo- what would you GUYS study?Start HereCisco documentation (in your case Cisco CCNA), WINDOWS network documentation, Linux network documentation will help you. But we don't know if you need general information, "network PHYSICAL" documentation or operating system documentation. I think a little from all. So, my recomendation is Cisco CCNA all the way.thanks guys : ) |
