Solve the following equation 2x-y+3z=9, x+y+z=6, x-y+z=2

2x-y+3z = 9 ...(1)

x+y+z = 6 ...(2)

x-y+z ....(3)

By adding (1) and (2), we get

3x+4z = 15 ...(4)

By adding equations (2) and (3), we get

2x+2z = 8 ...(5)

By multiplying equation (5) by 2, we get

4x+4z = 16 ...(6)

By multiplying equation (4) from (6), we get

x = 1

By putting x = 1 in equation (5), we get

z+2z = 8

⇒ z = 8-2/2

⇒ z = 6/2 = 3

By putting x = 1 and z = 3 in equation (3), we get

1-y+3 = 2

⇒ y = 4 - 2 = 2

Hence, solution of given system of equations is x = 1, y = 2 and z = 3.
